  • Flew into Houston, Texas
  • Drove down to Galveston
  • Beach time

  • Watched 4th of July fireworks over the Gulf of Mexico
  • Had a visit from my parents and my nephew
  • Said goodbye at work to one of the most impressive leaders I’ve ever worked for
  • Conducted outdoor swim lessons for my first time
  • Kleindolph Family Reunion
  • Achieved Team Leader certification for the YMCA
  • Reunited with my high school BFF!
  • Spent lots of pool time
  • Read a bunch of books

2-7 – Went to Cancun, Mexico
9- Attended Premier whiskey tasting event at brand new Whiskey Acres Distillery
15- Paid my taxes
18- Celebrated Caleb’s birthday (which is on the 19th)
25- Healthy Kids Day at YMCA & promo for “Swim with the Mermaid” event

New Aquatics Programs At Kishwaukee Family YMCA This Fall

  • Barracuda Swim Lesson – for beginners age 12-15
  • Open Swim Lessons – children ages 3-12, all levels meeting at the same time
  • Home School Lessons – mid-day for beginning and intermediate/advanced levels
  • Porpoise Swim Lessons – advanced swimmers up to age 12, focused on endurance & skills
